Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Zombit Studios LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information in Quilt Planner, including the website at quilt-planner.zombit.io and the Quilt Planner app for iPad (together, the “Service”). In short: we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

1. Information we collect

We do not ask for, collect, or store personal information such as your name, email address, location, or contacts. Quilt Planner has no accounts and no sign-in.

2. Your designs and files

Your quilt designs, fabrics, settings, and any fabric photos you add are saved only on your device (in your browser’s storage on the web, or in the app’s storage on iPad). They are never uploaded to us. When you save, export, print, or share a file, it goes only where you choose, such as the Files app, AirDrop, or a printer. Deleting the app or clearing your browser’s site data removes this information from your device.

3. Photos, files, and device permissions

If you add a photo of a fabric, the app asks the operating system for access to that photo or file. The image is used only to show the fabric in your design and is kept with your project on your device. We never access your photo library or files beyond what you choose to add.

4. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Quilt Planner contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking code, and does not track you across apps or websites. We do not use cookies for tracking.

5. Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site. These logs are not used to identify you and are kept only as long as the provider needs them. The iPad app works offline and does not send this kind of information to us.

6. Third-party services

• Apple. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple handles the download, any purchase, and related information under Apple’s own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated, anonymous sales and usage reports from Apple.
• Vercel. Hosts the website, as described above.
• Links. The website links to other sites, such as a “Buy Me a Coffee” page. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply if you visit them.

7. Children’s privacy

Quilt Planner is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

8. Data retention and deletion

Because your information stays on your device, you control it completely. You can clear designs in the app, delete files you saved, clear the website’s data in your browser settings, or delete the app.

9. Security

Your data is protected by your device’s own security. The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not hold personal data about you, and we do not sell or share personal data. If you have a question or request, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

11. International users

We are based in the United States. Because we do not collect personal data, none is transferred to us. Our website host may process server logs in the United States or other countries.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date above. If we ever begin collecting personal data, we will update this policy before doing so.
